Support Industrial Arts Workshop

Your Support Helps Us:

  • Provide the rods, gas, and safety gear for over 400+ students each year.
  • Open doors for careers in the arts and trades for Pittsburgh-area youth.
  • Enable students to collaborate on sculptures and other pieces for our neighborhoods.
  • Keep our Mobile Welding Lab on the road, bringing welding training to parking lots in the region.

Ways to Give

Individual & Monthly Giving:

Your one-time or monthly gift allows us to serve more students through our programs. You can donate online or mail a check to 5430 Dyke Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

  • $50 provides a full set of safety gear to one student.
  • $250 covers the specialized welding rods and gas for a full workshop session.
  • $1,000 sponsors a student’s entire journey through Summer Welding Bootcamp.

Corporate Sponsorships:

Opportunities range from $1,000 to $75,000 to support student instruction, materials, and equipment. Partners can sponsor specific programs and receive recognition on our Mobile Welding Lab, student showcases, and across all communications.

In-Kind Support:

Donations of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies help students train on industry-standard technology. In-kind support can also include volunteering your team’s skills with our students, whether it’s welding demonstrations, fabrication guidance, or expertise in math or financial literacy.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC): Pennsylvania businesses can receive a 75-90% tax credit, up to $750,000, for contributions to Educational Improvement Organization like IAW. This allows your organization to turn your tax bill into hands-on, career-connected learning.
